Mask Optional
As school resumes in August 2022, Fenton reminds families that masks are optional. However, Fenton will continue to follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and as of August the CDC still requires masks to be worn for five (5) days upon returning from a COVID-19 isolation.

Testing of Unvaccinated Staff
On July 12, 2022, Governor Pritzker issued Executive Order 2022-16, which re-issued the requirement of weekly COVID-19 testing of unvaccinated K-12 school personnel.

                                                                    COVID-19 Student Expectations

Principal Sam Bentsen sent an email to all students and parents in July and his message contained a link to the Fenton COVID-19 Student Expectations document. Fenton asks that students and their parents or guardians review this document together and become familiar with all the topics involved with returning to school during this COVID-19 pandemic.
