District 100 Welcomes New Administrators

Superintendent Ongtengco is excited to introduce three administrators beginning July 1.

Mrs. Eileen Roberts will assume her new role as Assistant Principal for Fenton High School.

Mrs. Roberts joined Fenton in July 2017 as Division Leader for Special Education and Counseling. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Middle School Mathematics from Illinois State University (2002) and a master’s degree in administration (2008) from Lindenwood University.

Prior to starting at Fenton District 100 in 2017, Mrs. Roberts experience includes 11 years in Administration as Building Principal and Assistant Principal.

Eileen says, “I am excited for the opportunity to support the school through this new role, it will allow me to work more closely with students and parents.”



IDr. Samuel Bentsen, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Operationsn March, 2018, the Board of Education approved the appointment of Dr. Samuel Bentsen for the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Operations. 

Dr. Bentsen holds a doctorate from University of Illinois in Educational Policy and Leadership, as well as his master's in administration from Western Illinois University.  He joins Fenton where he served nearly 12 years at Willowbrook/District 88 as Director of Student Services, Assistant Principal and Director of Deans.

"I am very excited to join the Fenton administrative team and serve in this capacity. I am already impressed with the Fenton staff and look forward to getting to know more people when the school year starts," says Dr. Bentsen.



Nancy Coleman, Director of Special EducationNancy Coleman was appointed at the May 2018 meeting as the new Director of Special Education for Fenton High School. 

Ms. Coleman comes to Fenton from Leyden Area Special Education Cooperative in Franklin Park where she served for ten years as Technical Assistance Supervisor. She holds a bachelor's of science in special education from Northern Illinois University, a master's in Educational Leadership from Aurora University, and is currently completing her doctorate in Leadership in Educational Administration at Aurora University.

"I am thrilled to join the Fenton family. I look forward to working with the students, staff and community in the upcoming school year," said Nancy.
